Honey Tree Early Childhood Center consists of seven cheerful and interactive classrooms organized and specific to the age of the class and program: Kindergarten, Preschool, or Parent/2’s. All of our classrooms offer children a nurturing, predictable environment that helps them feel safe and secure to play, learn and grow. Classrooms are child-centered with child-size furniture, shelves, cubbies for belongings, and bathrooms within the room. There is space for the whole group to gather for circle times, music and movement. There are library / quiet corners and table activities for individuals or small groups. Learning areas include art, blocks, dramatic play, puzzles, and math manipulatives. Additional learning spaces may include a creation station, science/ sensory discovery, and writing centers.
